PDPA and DNC basics for B2B outreach.

A plain-English starting point. This is not legal advice; have a lawyer review your own process.

The summaries below are general information for Singapore B2B teams and are not a substitute for legal advice.

1. The Do Not Call (DNC) Registry

Businesses that call, SMS, or WhatsApp Singapore telephone numbers for marketing must check those numbers against the DNC Registry first, unless they have clear and unambiguous consent. Keep evidence of every check. Our exports carry a reminder for this reason.

2. Business contact information vs personal data

Under the PDPA, business contact information (name, position, business phone, business address, business email) is treated differently from personal data such as a personal mobile number. Direct mobile numbers should be handled as personal data: collect only what you need, protect it, and honour removal requests.

3. Removal requests

Anyone can ask to be removed from our database via the Remove My Data form. We process requests within 10 business days and suppress the record everywhere: search, exports, and enrichment.

4. Acceptable use

No spam, comply with PDPA and DNC rules, and no reselling of data. See the Acceptable Use Policy. Accounts that breach it can be suspended.

5. Data Protection Officer

Our DPO can be reached at hello@sgbestleads.com. Include "DPO" in the subject line.

Prospect responsibly.

Every export includes a DNC reminder, and every record shows when it was last verified.
